In my free time (the very little that we have ha ha) I like to listen to music and hang out with my friends and family. I enjoy all sorts of music but country definitely takes the cake for being my favorite. I like to come home from class and hang out with my roommates (Caroline, Shaye, and Amy) because they make me laugh very hard. I live close to home so it’s always nice to get away and hang out with my family when I get the chance.
2. Person you’d most like to meet.
If I could meet one person I would pick Josh Duhamel because he is my celebrity crush! And he did a pretty good job in Transformers.
3. Favorite music genre, artist, album…
My favorite genre of music is country. I enjoy listening to Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Thompson Square, Sugarland, Blake Shelton, and thousands of others. It’s too hard for me to narrow it down to just one artist!
4. Teammate that makes you laugh the hardest.
I can’t pick just one teammate that makes me laugh the hardest because everyone is crazy and funny in her own way. Alex Dohm is always dancing in the locker room and it makes everyone laugh. Caroline and Amy crack Kardashian jokes daily that make me laugh even if they are super weird. Hayley and Lizzy are my locker neighbors and we always find a way to laugh before practice. Shaye is one of my roommates and we are always laughing, it doesn’t help that we can both be very blonde at times. I laugh with everyone on our team!
5. Favorite athlete growing up.
Michelle Akers was my favorite athlete growing up. When I watched the women’s national team, she was the player that I kept my eye on. Ever since I saw the movie, “Dare to Dream” I saw how hard she worked and that she gave everything she had to the U.S. National team. She fought through a chronic fatigue injury, which showed me how strong she was. I always wanted to be a player like her because she made an impact every time she stepped on the field.
6. If you were President for a day, what would you do?
If I were president for a day…. I don’t know what I would do. I have thought long and hard about this question and it is too hard for me to think of one specific thing that I would do.
7. If you were coach for a day, what would you do?
If I were coach for a day, I would make a rule that all coaches have to do all the fitness that the players do! :) ha ha
8. Pre-game rituals, superstitions…
I don’t really have any pre-game rituals; I usually listen to a pump up playlist on my iPod. I am very superstitious. I always wear pre-wrap from the same roll and I wear my hair in some sort of braid. I wear the same sports bra, spandex, and shin guard sleeves.
9. Favorite meal.
My favorite meal is my mom’s homemade spaghetti with garlic bread. I request it every time I come home. She has a secret recipe that she got from one of our family friends that she won’t give to anyone.
10. If your life were a movie, who would play you?
If my life were a movie, Reese Witherspoon would play me. Sweet Home Alabama and Legally Blonde are two of my favorite movies and she stars in both of them. She has admitted that she has a type-A personality and I am type-A too.
11. Best memory at CU.
I can’t pick just one favorite memory at CU. Beating UCLA, my sophomore year, in overtime was very cool. And beating Texas A&M in College Station for the first time ever, was an amazing experience. The Aggies usually do their song and dance thing after they win games, and to keep them quiet and watch them walk off the field silent felt awesome.

12. If you weren’t playing soccer in college, what sport would you play?
If I weren’t playing soccer in college, I would play tennis. I enjoy playing tennis leisurely and I think it would be a fun sport to compete in.
13. What are you looking forward to most moving into the Pac-12?
What I’m most looking forward to in the Pac-12 is playing Stanford again. We played them my freshman year and they were a very good team. This year there is more on the line because it’s a conference game. I like their style of play and I think it fits well with the style that we play at CU.
14. What made you choose CU?
There are several reasons why I chose CU. I love the campus and being close to home. I love playing a mile high because we have such a big advantage over teams that come from sea level. I grew up going to camp at CU and got to know several of the girls on the team and I knew the coaches so I felt connected to CU before I even got here. I started watching CU soccer when I was 7 and back then they played at Pleasant View Soccer Fields.
15. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself married with one or two kids. I would like to be practicing law, coaching my kids in soccer, and staying active.
